Kentucky Christian University Football Secures First Season Win with 41-20 Victory Over Brevard College
Kentucky Christian University's football team clinched its first win of the season on Saturday, overcoming Brevard College with a decisive 41-20 score on the road. The Knights rallied impressively, scoring 41 unanswered points after an initial deficit. Quarterback Jackson Wasik led the offensive charge, throwing for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Defensive back Ja'Tarius Randolph sealed the victory with a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown.
The game began with Brevard College taking an early lead, but KCU's offense quickly found its rhythm. Wasik's precise passing and the team's cohesive play turned the tide, demonstrating the Knights' resilience and strategic execution.
Head Coach Jason Aubry, expressed his pride in the team's performance. "Today was a great team win! It wasn't a perfect game, and we know there's still a lot of work ahead to get to where we want to be. But I'm extremely proud of the complementary football we played. Our young men showed tremendous focus and resilience, especially in how they handled the delay and came out mentally prepared to dominate afterward," Aubry said.
Looking ahead, KCU aims to build on this momentum as they prepare for upcoming away game this Saturday against Taylor University at 4p.m. EST.
