Knights Dominate Home Opener with 58-0 Victory Over South Carolina Central Christian College
The Knights football team delivered a commanding performance in their home opener, defeating South Carolina Central Christian College 58-0 on Saturday.
The Knights' offense was led by quarterback Jackson Wasik, who completed 15 of 18 passes for 216 yards and five touchdowns, with no interceptions. Running back Jovari Gamble contributed to the ground game with five carries for 29 yards. Wide receiver Jacob Cline led the receiving corps with four catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns.
The defense also played a pivotal role, holding South Carolina Central Christian College scoreless throughout the game. This shutout marks a strong start to the Knights' season, setting a high standard for both offensive and defensive units.
The Knights will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for their next game on the road against Brevard College next Saturday.
