Tyler Kuykendall Named Bowling Head Coach
Grayson, KY – 02/13/2025 – Kentucky Christian University (KCU) is thrilled to announce the creation of its inaugural bowling team, set to debut in the fall 2025. This exciting addition to KCU athletics marks another step forward in the university's commitment to expanding competitive opportunities for student-athletes.
Leading the program as head coach will be Tyler Kuykendall, a bowler with two decades of experience. A former collegiate bowler at Morehead State University, Kuykendall has honed his coaching skills at both Fleming County and Montgomery County High Schools. His expertise and leadership will be instrumental in developing a strong foundation for KCU's bowling program.
"I am very excited for the opportunity to help kids further their faith, education, and bowling careers," said Kuykendall. "I look forward to building a competitive and reputable bowling program at Kentucky Christian University."
The launch of the bowling program aligns with KCU's mission of fostering holistic student development by integrating faith, academics, and athletics. Coach Kuykendall, along with his wife Taylor and daughter Evangeline, is eager to get the ball rolling and contribute to the growth of KCU's athletic department.
