Cedarville Invitational

The Men’s and Women’s Track team traveled to the Buckeye State on Friday and made a phenomenal showing across the board. Up first the duo of Reid Strebeck and DaShawn Webster leapt to new heights in the High Jump and followed it up adding Ja’Raylan Johnson in the mix in the Long Jump. All three ended the evening qualifiers for next weeks NCCAA National Indoor Championships!  Also on the Men’s side the school record in the Indoor Shot Put got destroyed by super freshmen Michael McGrath! And lastly the 4x200 meter relay team consisting of JaVonta Anderson, Dejon Winburn, DJ Simmons and Austin Howard also qualified for NCAA Nationals.

 

On the woman’s side Sr. Hurler Lauren Hannah launched a weight throw that nearly eclipsed her own school record, but was good enough to qualify her for the AAC Conference Championships in two weeks.
