Golf Teams Compete in UVa-Wise Tourney

Kingaport, TN – The KCU golf teams traveled to the MeadowView Resort in Kingsport, TN to participate in the 2021 Nick England Memorial Tournament hosted by the University of Virginia-Wise. This year's event was a one-day, 18-hole tournament and KCU had two players that finished in the tournament Top-10. On the men's side, Clay Ison (FR/Ashland, KY) shot a +3 (74) to finish tied for 9th place, while Sydnie Kozee (SO/Greenup, KY)'s 79 was good enough for a 7th place tie.
John (JT) Howie finished in 24th place with an 83 and Alec Stone (FR/Ashland, KY) took 27th place with his 93. The course measured out as follows:
