Wet Conditions Shorten KCU Fall Golf Invitational
Grayson, KY – Hidden Cove Golf Course was once again the site of the 2018 KCU Fall Invitational. The 2nd installment of this competition was marred by unseasonably wet conditions but through it all, the teams were able to play 27 of the 36 holes scheduled.
On the men's side of the tournament, teams from Alice Lloyd College, Johnson University Tennessee, Shawnee State University, University of Pikeville, University of Rio Grande, WV Tech and your host Knights played the following course set-up:

Men Saturday: 6943 yards, 72.2 Rating, 133 Slope
Men Sunday: 6884 yards, 71.9 Rating, 132 Slope
The Knights were led by freshman Bricen Thompson (t-9 finish) with Caleb Castle finishing just behind his teammate. The GolfKnights finished in fifth place overall. Here are the final results:

Head men's coach Steve Kennedy said, "We were very blessed to finish 27 holes after Sunday's final round was shortened to 9 holes. The weather just didn't cooperate with us this year but overall I believe we have a quality event."
