Bio

Alex Collier enters his first season as the Defensive Pass Game Coordinator / Defensive Backs Coach / Recruiting Coordinator at Kentucky Christian University. He previously spent the past two seasons at Edward Waters University in Jacksonville,Fl as the  Special Teams Coordinator and Cornerbacks coach. He was a part of the best school record, 6-4 (23') in over two decades. Collier was able to help coach an all-conference SIAC defensive back (24'), Stephon French. 

Collier previously served as Defensive Backs Coach at local high school Ed White where he was able to coach a 3 star Iowa State commit. Prior to Ed White, Collier coached the corners at East Central University and Bemidji State University (22'). Prior to those universities he was with Mercer University (21') as a Defensive Quality Control coach. While working with the safeties he was able to assist in coaching a Hero Sports All- American safety, Lance Wise.
 
Collier also spent one season at Finlandia University (20') and one season at Carroll University (19') where he was able to help coach a top 5 pass defense. Prior to Carroll, Collier coached at Westside High School in Jacksonville, Florida where he coached the cornerbacks. He also coached the defensive backs at his alma-mater, First Coast High School. 
 
Collier also worked with Jacksonville University in an off-field role. He was a defensive student assistant working with the cornerbacks at Troy University (17'-18'). Prior to being a student assistant, Collier worked as an assistant video coordinator, as well as the assistant to the director of player personnel.  As a member of Troy University football team Collier was able to be a part of two bowl games (Dollar General Bowl, 16' and New Orleans Bowl, 17') and a sun-belt championship (17').
 
He earned both a  Bachelors in Multimedia Journalism ('18) and a Masters in Strategic Communications (20') from Troy University. Collier is a native of Jacksonville, FL and is a graduate of First Coast High School.
