Knights Lose Heartbreaker at Home

Grayson, KY - The Knights returned home after a couple weeks on the road to take on Bluefield. Despite a hard fought game, the Knights' comeback fell short, they look to regroup next week on Novemebr 4th for Senior Day against Reinhardt at 12:00 PM. 

Scoring Summary

• Bluefield scored off a blocked punt in the first quarter with 5:28 left to play. 
• The Rams scored again with 44 seconds left in the first quarter to go up 14-0. 
• KCU got on the board in the second quarter with a 13 yard run by Jamari Wilson, Connor Ignacio capped off the drive with the extra point to cut lead. 
• Bluefield kicked a 29 yard field goal with 9 minutes left in the second quarter. 
• The Rams scored with 47 seconds left in the half to go up 24-7. 
• KCU scored in the third quarter with 8:40 left with a 5 yard run by Jamari Wilson, capped off with the extra point by Connor Ignacio to cut the lead but still trailed 24-14.
• Bluefield scored in the third quarter with 6:42 left to play to push their lead back up. 
• The Rams scored again with 32 seconds left in the third to go up 38-14. 
• KCU scored with 3:01 left in the fourth quarter with a 5 yard pass by Baden Gillispie to Davari Morris to trail the Rams 21-38.
