Football Drops Home Game to Bluefield

Grayson, KY – The KCU Knights football team hosted the Rams of Bluefield College for a Saturday afternoon game at Knights Stadium. Bluefield scored the first two touchdowns of the game and never looked back as they took the Mid-South Conference matchup by a 23-44 score.
Knights Stats
- Justin White (SR/El Paso, TX) and Riley Cooper (SR/Columbus, OH) combined for 290 yards passing on 23-55 attempts with two touchdowns and five interceptions.
- On the ground, Jordan Brown (FR/Knoxville, TN) averaged 4.4 yds/rush for 83 yards and caught four passes for an additional 40 yards.
- Micah Adams (SO/Grayson, KY) and Diego Soto (SO/Orange Park, FL) had almost the same stat line as they each caught five passes for 73 yards and a TD. The only difference was Adam's long reception was for 39 yds, while Soto's went for 20 yds.
- With a 33-yd field goal and two extra points, Paul Rodriguez (SR/Placentia, CA) accounted for five totals points.
- Obadiahous Wilson (SO/Beaufort, SC) averaged 25.3 yards per kickoff return.
- Defensively, Ethan Owens (SR/Hayward, CA) led the KCU in tackles with 12, which included six solo tackles. Dejhawn Hill (SR/Fresno, CA) also reached double digits in tackles with 10 (2 solo/8 assisted).

- The Knights collected 398 total yards of offense.
The Winning Factor
- KCU lost the turnover battle, as BC was able to force seven, two fumbles and five picks.
Who's Up Next
The Knights will play #19 Faulkner University next Saturday in Montgomery, AL. The kickoff is set for 1:30 PM.
