Bio
Coach Pack spent his first year as Interim Head Coach at KCU this past season. In the 2022-2023 season members of the Knights Men’s Basketball Program received All Conference and All Freshman Team Selections as well as Academic Athletic Selections as well.
Prior to the 2022-2023 season Coach Pack was a member of KCU staff as an assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. For the seven seasons prior to that he served on staff at Raceland Worthington High School located in Raceland, Ky. As Assistant Coach for the Varsity program. He was also instrumental with individual player development and organization for the Youth League and Middle School Programs with the Raceland Independent School District during that time period as well. Coach Pack helped lead the varsity team to one of the school’s most successful seasons in 2017-18 with the team winning the 16th Region All “A” Championship and 63rd District Championship
Pack, a 1996 Graduate of Raceland Worthington High School is a member of the 1000 point club. In 2020 Coach Pack was also inducted into the Raceland Basketball Hall of Fame.
Coach Pack continued his education at Eastern Kentucky University earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration in 2002.
Prior to the 2012-2013 season when he returned to Coach at his alma Mater, Pack spent seven years as either Middle School Head Coach or High School Assistant Coach for Leslie County High School in Hyden, Kentucky.
From 2015-2018 Pack was also Head Coach for Cameron Hoskins All-Stars, a Premier AAU program playing in honor of the life of Cameron Hoskins. During the AAU Spring and Summer Seasons his teams participated within several Circuits including Big Shots, Phenom Hoops and the TYBA-And 1 Circuit where they were crowned the 2016 16U Champions.
Coach Pack currently resides in Raceland, KY. He is married to Misty, they have one daughter, Alex.
