Bio

Alex Miller was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky playing basketball and volleyball for Lewis County
High School. After High School, she received her undergraduate degree from Kentucky Christian
University. After graduating from KCU, Alex had the opportunity to train as a crossfit athlete and her
drive for fitness and health has never been the same. Alex comes back to the area with her husband
(Joshua Miller, Head Women’s Soccer Coach) and one year old son (Greyson Miller) from Moberly, MO
where she previously coached group fitness and mobility classes at a functional strength and
conditioning gym. Having had the unique opportunity to work and serve alongside her husband’s teams,
she truly understands the physical and mental demands and expectations put on a student athlete.

As an ISSA certified Elite Trainer, Alex loves to increase the physical and mental fitness of her athletes by
coaching functional movement patterns and implementing mobility training programs to reduce injury.
She believes that everyday movement of our bodies is a gift from God that should be honored and that
if we connect our mind to our muscles during intentional movement practices, we can push our bodies
to new and improved levels. Alex is excited to use her passion for health and fitness to serve the student
athletes at Kentucky Christian.
