Baseball Loses Doubleheader at Tennessee Wesleyan

Athens, TN – The final two games of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) series between the Knights and Tennessee Wesleyan were completed today with the Bulldogs taking both. In the first game, TWU won 2-4 and proceeded to take the second, 4-5.

Game 1

• Yan Rivera was 2-4, both being doubles.
• The trio of Aiden Bevan, Cody Holub, and Cole Thomason were 1-2 each.
• Tucker Sorenson was tagged with the loss. He went 7complete innings and was charged with four earned runs while striking out four and walking three.

Game 2

• Rivera continued his hot bat, as he was 3-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
• Justin Legg was 2-3 with an RBI.
• Also scoring a run, Christin Garcia went 1-4 during the second game.
• Zach Pope took the loss.

Who's Up Next

The Knights will step outside the AAC to host Wilberforce University next Tuesday. The twin-bill is set for a 1:00 PM start.
