Baseball Loses Two in Johnson Series

Knoxville, TN – The KCU baseball team played their first Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) of the 2023 season on the road against the Royals of Johnson University–TN. This three-game series had multiple scheduling changes due to weather but in the end, all three games were in the books. The home standing Royals completed their jobs as they took the series 1-2.

The series came down like this:

Game 1:  KCU 8 – JUTN 6

Game 2:  KCU 3 – JUTN 4 (8-Innings)

Game 3:  KCU 6 – JUTN 8

Who's Up Next

The Knights will travel to Truett-McConnell University for a three-Game series with the Bears beginning next Friday. Friday’s play will consist of a doubleheader (1-9 & 1-7 inning game) followed by Saturday’s 9-inning contest to close out the series.

Both Friday’s and Saturday’s first pitch will be at 12 PM.
